Admission
Membership Qualifications
Corporate Membership:
- Must be a corporation operating a package design related business.
Individual Membership:
- Possess specialized knowledge relating to package design, or
- Possess specialized knowledge relating to package design and is engaged in package design education, or
- Individual with substantial experience equivalent to the above.
Supporting Member:
- A corporation, organization or individual interested in package design and willing to pay the supporting membership fee.
Admission Method
Corporate Membership:
- Corporation interested in admission, should enter all the necessary items in the Application form (available from the JPDA head office) including applicant company’s information brochure and send to the head office. At the board review, held on the 2nd Wednesday of the odd months, the documentation will be screened. If approved, the corporation can be admitted.
Individual Membership:
- Individuals interested in admission, should enter all the necessary items in the Application form (available from the JPDA head office) and submit 5 actual commercial products to the head office. Applicants engaged in education who prefer to have a thesis screened instead of 5 commercial products, please submit the thesis. At the board review, held on the 2nd Wednesday of the odd months, the documentation or products will be screened. If approved, the individual can be admitted.
Supporting Member:
- Individuals or corporations interested in admission, should enter all the necessary items in the Application form (available from the JPDA head office) and send to the head office. Special Privileges of the Members
Can enroll in the National Health Insurance Union of Artists. If not affiliated with a corporate organization, through our association, members can join National Health Insurance Union of Artists. The cost of insurance might be cheaper than the general National Health Insurance. Additionally, members receive a member directory and association bulletin free of charge, obtain discounted admission tickets for seminars etc. sponsored by our association, and can send direct postal mail at a comparatively low cost.
